When people search for "happiness" on Google, they get over 342 million results. The same search on Amazon reveals over 68,000 titles. Clearly, people want to be happy, or at the very least, people don't want to be unhappy. The real question, though, is what does God want? Does He want you and me to be happy?
When Jesus preached the most famous sermon of all time, He began by using the same word 9 times in 9 verses: blessed, which also carries the meaning of "happy." In this 4 part series, we'll find that God does indeed want us to be happy, and that when we attach our happiness to God and what He did for us at the cross, we'll begin to take a fresh look at the things we already have.
