FAQS
What should I wear?
We get asked this one a lot, and our simple answer is, "Clothes." Really, come casual and dress just like you would if you were going to spend time at a friend's house. But please, wear something!
What is The Gathering like?
Although the format can change, the common ingredients you'll find in all of our services are: passionate worship, practical teaching and people who are on your side. We make sure you've got an outline that helps you follow along with the message, and love incorporating media into the way we teach because it helps us all remember the important stuff!
What about my children?
Our Family Life Team is the best! We have age appropriate rooms for children up through the 5th grade led by people who love children! It's safe (all workers have had background checks), fun, and your child(ren) will love it. Feel free to visit our Family Life page to get even more information about what your kids can expect. [COVID-19 STATUS: Our Family Life rooms will be reopening soon, but at the current time we're thrilled to be able to all worship together!]
What can I expect the first time I visit?
Let's see…great coffee, a relaxed atmosphere, encouraging worship, and the good feeling that comes from being around real people just like yourself. Along with that, you can come knowing that we won't point you out or embarrass you.
How can I get plugged in at The Gathering?
Coming to a new place can be a bit overwhelming, so we want to help get you connected in a way that works for you. Lunch in the Lobby, our Discover the Gathering classes, and Community Groups are some of the ways that will help you meet others and make The Gathering feel more like home, but the simplest way to get connected is by filling out a Connection Card when you visit and dropping it into the offering boxes at the door on your way out of the Worship Center.
