Stirring up intolerance / re|ACTS Week 31 Message recap

The Big Idea: We tolerate what doesn't agitate.

Our goal is not toleration by the world, but the salvation of the world. If we're being tolerated, we may not be sharing the whole gospel.

Jesus isn't just my Lord, your Lord or our Lord. He is THE Lord.

When we only share Jesus as our Lord, we don't stir up his Lordship over other people's situations.

The truth that Jesus is Lord over everything and everyone agitates people because it causes us to bend our wills to his.

God's way rubs man's way the wrong way. He is good at choosing people and plans that we would not have chosen.

Intolerance reveals agitation, and the medication for agitation is grace.

Grace makes outsiders insiders.

Our work for God, our personal testimonies and our amazing spiritual experiences aren't the proof of our salvation. Getting along is.

Guess what's more powerful than your work for God, salvation by God and experiences with God? How you love the people of God. (John 13:35)
