Going Home Alive! / re|ACTS Week 28 Message recap
Here are some social media highlights from this week's message. Simply copy and paste them into your Twitter and/or Facebook feed.
What happens in church shouldn't stay in church.
We do what matters most for as long as we can if we think it may be the last time we get to do it.
What we talk about in our final moments together reveals what we value the most. For the early church, that was Jesus.
Having church on Sunday doesn't replace the Sabbath. It celebrates a resurrected King who is lord over the Sabbath. We find rest in Jesus.
Is it wrong to worship on Saturday vs Sunday? No, it's wrong to worship only one day a week no matter what day it is.
In the early church, miracles were so common that even raising someone from the dead didn't stop the service!
In Acts 20, Eutychus was picked up dead, raised from the dead, and taken home alive. The power of God changes our condition.
To leave church saying "GREAT SERVICE!" without GREAT CHANGE is GREAT HYPOCRISY.
It's not enough to be CHARGED up by Jesus when we need to be CHANGED by Jesus.
Don't settle for a Sunday morning testimony. Life differently on The Other Six days and write a better story. It'll be read by more people.
