As Christians, our faith cannot be based on works, and our works can only be based on faith.
We're not worth more because we do more. We do more because He's worth more.
Milestones become tombstones the moment you stop moving.
Starting allows us to have instant satisfaction without putting forth any real effort, but not finishing puts everything we started at risk.
Knowing God's presence, trusting God's protection, and remembering God's purpose enables us to finish the business of gospel proclamation.
People leave things unfinished because they're afraid. God's presence counteracts that."Don't be afraid. I am with you."
When God draws near to us, there is no more room for the fear that makes us want to quit because his love and presence fills us.
Intimidation leads to compromise.
God knows that when we think of what we'll lose, we'll never think of what we could gain.
People leave things unfinished when they feel defeated. The protection of God counteracts that. "Keep on speaking. No one will harm you."
Knowing we can't lose fills us with a greater hunger to win.
Many times we're satisfied with a good run, but too often our good run isn't long enough to finish the race. Finishing matters.
It isn't enough to have done good when there is still good to be done.
People leave things unfinished because they're satisfied. The purpose of God counteracts that. "Don't be silent. I have a plan for you."
God has a plan that involves people, and he uses people to achieve it.

The kingdom of God is ruled by a King who finished, and people who don't finish the purposes of God in their lives won't fit there.
